PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

In accordance with Chapter 8A, Article 5, Section 8 of the Code of West Virginia 2004, as amended, the Berkeley County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the public comments on the following projects:

PRELIMINARY PLAT REVIEW – Meadows at Riverside – The project proposes 224 single family lots and 134 townhouses on approximately 100 acres. The property is located on the south side of Broad Lane adjacent to Sportsman Paradise and Marlowe Country Estates subdivisions, in the Falling Waters Tax District. Meadows at Riverside, LLC; applicant. File # 003-07.

REQUEST FOR VARIANCE – Brookfield, Parcel G – The applicant is requesting a Variance from the procedures of Section 203.1, to create parcel G from the remainder of Tract 1. The property is located on the south side of Broad Lane, in the Falling Waters Tax District. Panhandle Homes; applicant. File # 101-06.

The PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Monday, April 21, 2008, in the Planning Commission office, 400 West Stephen Street, in the City of Martinsburg at 7:00 p.m. All persons and agencies having an interest on said plats are invited to attend this hearing and make their comments known.

The files for these projects may be reviewed in the Office of the Planning Commission.
