The Berkeley County government is in the
midst of a building campaign that will provide sufficient facilities space
for a twenty year period. The Berkeley County Commission purchased the
former Blue Ridge Outlet Center in 2002 for $3.8 million dollars. The
Commission is in the midst of a planning project that will relocate county
government from its traditional location at the corner of King and Queen
Street to the new Berkeley County Judicial Center and County Government
Complex housed in the former Blue Ridge Outlet Center.
